Now more than ever, it's crucial to offer eligible team members the flexibility to work effectively, remotely, and with continued connection to their teams and to the TriHealth culture. That's why we are excited to tell you about the official relaunching of TriHealth's telecommuting solution.
We took time to ask telecommuting leaders and team members what has worked well and where we have opportunities to improve our model. That feedback shaped our policy and processes to ensure that TriHealth can meet the needs of our team members, continue to deliver on our mission, and be the place where team members want to work, physicians want to practice, and the community chooses to receive care.
The Telecommuting Policy & Eligibility
The TriHealth telecommuting solution policy (13_ER29.02) became effective on Friday, October 1, 2021, and is available now on Our Policies (TIPS) through Bridge.
As a part of the new policy, job codes were identified as eligible or ineligible for telecommuting based on multiple factors, such as involvement in direct patient care or support, the need for onsite presence, and HR, legal or compliance considerations, to name a few. Job categories that were deemed generally eligible include select clerical, leader and professional/ technical job codes.
Leaders have the discretion to evaluate if team members in job codes deemed eligible can telecommute, although telecommuting decisions should be consistent and appropriate for the department and team.
We are pleased to relaunch TriHealth's telecommuting solution. We know telecommuting represents a significant shift in how we operate, how we partner and how we think about work. As a part of this solution, we will continue to focus on engaging our team members, building the TriHealth culture and remaining the friendly, welcoming workplace our team members experience within our walls.
While this change in how we work, where we work is not who we are. No matter where our team members are physically working, we continue to be One Team, TriHealth Strong.
really hope that I can telecommute as I drive over 45min to work and it takes me an hour or longer to get home.
would be awesome
