TriHealth Bridge

November 09, 2021

This year National Nurse Practitioner Week is celebrated from November 7 to November 13. We want to acknowledge the many talents and hard work of nurse practitioners over the last year, as each plays a vital role in The TriHealth Way of Delivering Care and our commitment to Getting Healthcare Right.

Nurse practitioners provide primary, acute and specialty healthcare services. They diagnose illnesses, treat conditions, provide evidence-based health education and collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to serve patients. Their clinical expertise helps to ensure we deliver the safest, most reliable care possible to all of our patients.

"Decades of evidence demonstrates that nurse practitioners have a positive impact on patient care and patient care outcomes. They are viewed as a trusted health care provider and offer a tremendous service to our community," says Jenny Skinner, Chief Nursing Executive. "I am excited and optimistic that we will see their role expand and grow in support of population health goals and health equity. I also look forward to a future where Nurse Practitioners can practice with full prescriptive authority in Ohio. I am proud of the work our Nurse Practitioners do at TriHealth and thank them for their commitment to excellence service and quality."

Now more than ever, the work of nurse practitioners could not be more critical! Nurse practitioners help us provide truly exceptional care and we are grateful for all that they do in helping us SERVE our community.
