The Bethesda Foundation recently honored an Emergency Department nurse, Jennifer Reed, BSN, CEN, for her care of a grateful patient. The patient wrote:

“Jennie was a particularly kind nurse. I appreciated the fact that she was direct and informative in caring for me.”

The Foundation presented Jennifer with a Grateful Patient Award pin and a small gift from the Foundation.

The Grateful Patient Program allows patients and their families to recognize a physician, nurse or caregiver who made a difference during their stay with a donation and a note of thanks. Donations made through the Grateful Patient program provide support for projects and services at Bethesda Hospitals.
