I hope you've been enjoying the improving warmer weather and the sunshine, with even better days ahead!
My Weekly Update video this week shares more encouraging news about COVID, with cases and hospitalizations continuing to decline here at TriHealth. Across the country, there has been a recent uptick in cases due to the emerging new and more contagious COVID variants, so it is important we remain cautious and continue to practice our ALWAYS behaviors to mitigate spread as we move closer through vaccinations to herd immunity and to putting this pandemic behind us. And, as we return to more normal operations, I am excited to share the approval of a five-year Master Facility and Modernization Plan for the Good Samaritan Hospital Campus, which will, over time, transform the Good Sam campus! This milestone is another giant leap forward in our plans to get healthcare right for our community, bringing convenient access to our full continuum of world-class TriHealth care in modern and state-of-the-art facilities.
