Team members from Good Samaritan Hospital’s NICU were recognized through the Good Samaritan Foundation Grateful Patient Program with donations made in their honor from a NICU graduate’s family and friends.
This past month, grateful parents Nikki and Jeff Geiser returned to Good Samaritan Hospital’s NICU for the first time since leaving with their son Jackson on June 2, 2018. During their visit, Nikki, Jeff, and the NICU team shared memories of the day Jackson was born. Nikki and Jeff reflected on the care and attention to detail that was given from the delivery room until the day Jackson went home with his parents. They shared how much they appreciated the NICU care team’s dedication to Jackson while answering all their questions – explaining his daily care plan and giving them precious time and memories with their son (pictured left to right: Dr. Daniel Swarr, Cindy Campbell, Nikki and Jeff Geiser).
The Grateful Patients and Families Program allows a patient or their family to make a donation in honor of a physician, nurse, or team member who made a difference and share a note of thanks.
Donations provide support for projects and services in the Good Samaritan Region.
