Peer Support Training sessions are open for January and February! Training is open to any TriHealth team member who is interested in being trained to provide peer support for team members who have been involved in a traumatic event or stressful situation. The training is 90 minutes long and will be limited to 20 participants in a virtual format via the Zoom meeting platform.
Training participants can expect to develop an understanding of the impact of secondary trauma, will learn to recognize the common reactions of second victims, will learn the six stages of recovery from a traumatic event, and will learn the best practice skills needed to provide a peer support intervention.
