TriHealth LifeStyles is currently seeking team members and/or their spouses to participate in a healthy habits study. As part of this study, all participants will receive:
- 16 coaching sessions from a TriHealth Health Coach
- Gift card compensation for your time
Funded through a grant from the National Institutes of Health, the study is being conducted in conjunction with Habit Design and the University of Washington to evaluate different methods and technologies that can be used to help people develop healthy, sustainable habits. Participation in this study is limited to individuals who meet criteria for metabolic syndrome. If you answer yes to 3 of the 5 questions below*, you may be eligible to participate:
- Are your triglycerides over 150 mg/dl?
- Is your fasting blood sugar over 100 mg/dl?
- Do you have low HDL cholesterol (< 40 mg/dl for men or < 50 mg/dl for women)?
- Is your blood pressure higher than 130/85 mmHg?
- Is your waist circumference higher than 40 inches for men or 35 inches for women?
*Being on medication for any of the conditions above qualifies as a yes.
I Don’t Know the Answers to These Questions. How Can I Find Out?
If you are interested in participating in this study but are unsure if you are eligible, it is recommended that you have a biometric screening done. This screening will provide you with valuable information about your health and can help to determine if you have metabolic syndrome.
How Can I Find a Screening or Learn More About This Study?
Interested team members and their spouses are encouraged to contact TriHealth LifeStyles at www.trihealthlifestyles.com or 513 346 5140 to learn more.
