ADN is the National Honor Society recognized by the National Organization for Associate Degree Nursing.
“These students are to be commended for meeting the demanding requirements for membership,” said JoAnn Sommer, ADN faculty advisor and a GSC alumna. “Celeste, Lizzie and Rebecca are recognized for their academic success, commitment, integrity, respect, professional behavior and community service.”
GSC’s Beta Kappa chapter of ADN is by invitation only. To be invited, students must complete the following:
- Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA or 3.0 or higher
- Earn at least a “B” in all courses
- Demonstrate conduct on the campus and in the clinical setting reflecting the integrity and professionalism of GSC

This semester’s service project benefited the Matthew 25: Ministries, an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization, through volunteer hours and donations.
