In 1995, the Auxiliary of Bethesda Hospital established the Betty J. Turner Award to honor a volunteer, who like Betty, is outstanding in his or her dedication to volunteering at Bethesda Hospitals.  Nominees should exemplify the ideals of dedication, cheerfulness, loyalty, helpfulness, service, and selflessness.  

 

Each individual nominated will be recognized and one will be chosen by the Betty J. Turner Award Committee as the Outstanding Volunteer.

 

Nominations are accepted during the month of August and must be submitted online at this link: Bethesda Volunteer of the Year Award

 

The award is open to all volunteers and Auxilians who give their time and talents to Bethesda Hospitals and will be presented at the Auxiliary Fall Luncheon on Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
