Congratulations to Bethesda North Hospital for being recognized by the American Heart Association for our achievement in being awarded the 2021 American Heart Association’s Get With The Guidelines - Stroke Gold Plus Award with Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll. This award further demonstrates our commitment to providing the best, safest care to our patients and improving the health of our community and those we serve. 

 

TriHealth is committed to providing heart and stroke care that aligns with the latest research-based treatment guidelines. Studies show patients can recover better when these guidelines are consistently followed. 

 

Hospitals receiving this award have reached an aggressive goal of treating patients with 85 percent or higher compliance to core standard levels of care by the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association for two consecutive calendar years. In addition, those hospitals have demonstrated 75 percent compliance during the 12-month period. Additionally, Bethesda North received the American Heart Association’s Target Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll award. To qualify for this recognition, hospitals must meet quality measures developed with more than 90 percent of compliance for 12 consecutive months for the “Overall Diabetes Cardiovascular Initiative Composite Score."
