Emily Lowhurst and other members of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority at Miami University recently traveled to Bethesda North Hospital to present the staff of the Mary Jo Cropper Family Center for Breast Care with homemade blankets for breast cancer patients.

This was so thoughtful and such a nice gesture; we are more than thrilled to accept the donation on behalf our patients. Our navigators are wonderful at making connections with our patients and will be able to identify those who may benefit most from these cozy blankets,” said Jacqui Appel, Program Manager of the Center.

Zeta Tau Alpha members are well known for their passion for service to others, especially through Breast Cancer Awareness and Education. Zetas host various events on campus, participate in events with their national partners and distribute Think Pink awareness ribbons around campus and the community during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
