TriHealth Bridge

April 16, 2021

Hello TriHealth family,

With the pause in administering Johnson & Johnson (J&J) vaccine in this week’s news, I wanted to provide some insight into this developing situation with this week’s video. The FDA has recommended this pause in J&J vaccinations while the CDC further investigates the six reported cases of stroke-like symptoms. While we all wait for further guidance on J&J vaccines, TriHealth continues to have adequate supplies of alternative vaccines and will continue our scheduled vaccine appointments as planned. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines remain highly effective and safe, and TriHealth supports the continued administration of these two vaccines. Tune in to this week’s video for more details on J&J vaccine plus some exciting vaccine developments related to COVID “long haulers” and vaccinations for adolescents.

Thank you for all you do every day to safely care for and support our TriHealth patients and the community.
