TriHealth Bridge

TAGS (TriHealth Armed-Forces Group and Supporters) had partnered with the GE Veterans Network’s on their 13th Annual Troop Care Package Drive. The mission is to support US service members deployed in hardship areas throughout the world. Donations began in August and continues through the end of October.

GE Aviation collects donations of specific food items, travel size personal care products and letters of support from employees and the local community. Hundreds of volunteers will assemble these donations into care packages, which are shipped to deployed military personnel in celebration of Veteran’s Day. GE Aviation coordinates and funds the shipping of the thousands of care packages. Last year’s drive resulted in a record setting 21,644 lbs. of donated items packaged in 3,549 care packages and delivered to the troops throughout the world.

TriHealth, TAGS and GE Aviation are asking for your help to exceed the record set last year. Anyone can donate and items purchased will ship directly to the collection location for packing and shipment. Visit www.trooppackages.com to donate or obtain additional information about GE Aviation Troop Care Package Drive.

Please contact Larry Mayborg, TriHealth Armed-Forces Group & Supporters Chair, with any questions. Thank you in advance for your support!
