Trihealth Corporate Security Communications team members recently spent some time job shadowing and cross training with the City of Cincinnati Police Communications Center. Team members first sat side-by-side with Emergency 911 operators while observing them answering calls in an effort to learn more about their training and gain additional call-taking and dispatch insight.

 

Team members then spent additional time listening to police dispatchers observing radio communications and radio etiquette. Security Management is working in partnership with City of Cincinnati to arrange similar future events as well as regional trainings related to emergency call-taking and dispatching.
