TriHealth Bridge

November 01, 2020

TriHealth is launching our inaugural African-American Employee Resource Group. TRIBE, which stands for TriHealth Resource Initiative for Black Employees, is looking for team members who identify as having African ancestral or familial heritage and team members of any race and ethnicity who want to be allies.

Through TRIBE, we will cultivate constructive experiences team members and our community through professional and leadership development opportunities, networking and mentoring, and positively impacting the community through outreach events.

Long before the recent social unrest, we recognized that TriHealth needed to provide our African-American team members, and their allies, an outlet and a voice. A central feature of the TRIBE ERG will be engaging team members in influencing community partnerships guided by TriHealth’s mission and values to respect all people.

Our promise to all participants is that you can bring your authentic selves, express ideas, and share life experiences. We will have giveaways, exchange information and celebrate wins while doing this valuable work.

"Diversity is the key to a thriving system. It includes the recognition, acceptance, and celebration of each individuals' unique qualities. It is realizing that the differences don't detract from the whole but are the ingredients that bring balance, beauty, strength, and resilience to the system."
TRIBE-Executive Co-sponsor Dr. William Buckley
"It is my fervent belief that in order for Trihealth to meet the needs of a racially and ethnically diverse population, we must both recognize and celebrate the value of an equally diverse workforce. TRIBE offers a platform for its members to maximize their professional development while receiving the vital support needed to optimally function within an organization re-committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion."
