To protect our patients and team members, TriHealth is supportive of visitation restrictions as response to COVID-19 Novel Coronavirus. Visitation restrictions at all TriHealth hospitals will include:

  • NO VISITORS will be admitted into any clinical setting with the following exceptions:

    • A patient nearing end of life may have visitors
    • A patient delivering a baby (sibling restrictions in place) a single visitor (a doula counts as a visitor)
    • All visitors must be recorded in the COVID-19 Command Center

  • For the allowed exceptions, these rules apply:
    • No visitors who have traveled in the last 14 days to the following locations will be admitted:
      • Any international destination
      • New York State
      • Washington State
    • No one with symptoms of COVID allowed in patient care areas (fever, cough, respiratory symptoms)
    • All visitors must check in at nurse’s stations and use hand sanitizer upon entry of the patient care area

Comments:

Please clarify the restrictions as there is information out there that end of life patients can have 5 visitors at a time. This has happened in the MSICU on 3/21/20. In addition, the daily updates via video are great but very few computers in the patient care areas have speakers, or any ability to hear what is being said.
