Our history, mission and legacy are all rooted in serving our entire community. Our sacred work includes caring for those in need, especially the underserved and marginalized.
As we reflect on current events that demonstrate a greater need than ever for empathy, respect for differences and acknowledgement of injustices, we stand in support of our African American community and promise to always care and advocate for those in need. TriHealth is a system rooted in the works and teaching of the Sisters of Charity and the Bethesda Deaconesses with a mission, then and now, to care for our marginalized community members and to strive for a more just society.
On June 5, our team members and senior leaders stood with White Coats for Black Lives (WCBL) in their movement to eliminate racial bias in the practice of medicine and in healthcare, and to recognize racism as a threat to the health and well-being of the African American community. Team members participated in an 8 minute and 46 second moment of silence as part of WCBL’s call to action to observe the memory of George Floyd.
WCBL is an organization that strives to dismantle racism in medicine and promote the health, well-being, and self-determination of the African American community. Learn more: https://whitecoats4blacklives.org/

98% of us don't understand how a human being with blood flowing in his veins can turn around and be sadistic towards another man because of the colour of his skin, gender, origin, religion... Do we not all bleed when pricked ??? Are we not all wounded in the heard when bruised through the ear ???
Thank God that TriHealth with its Diversity Spirit is at the forefront of the war against discrimination in all its forms in its workplace.

Thank you TriHealth for stepping out in faith and leading such a large corporate response to the deeply rooted tradition of racism and discrimination. We appreciate the company's acts of humility for the plight of the Black race. We look forward to the future as we work together to end racial bias in healthcare and every area and every aspect of the lives of the African American community.

Thank you to Trihealth for providing this opportunity to stand up on the side of equity and justice for all people, especially those people of color who have been so abused and discriminated against in the USA.
May this be the dawn of a new day of unity and love.
