During these extraordinary times, everyone continues facing unprecedented challenges on all fronts. In the midst of a public health emergency and now a secondary financial crisis, the world is also facing a national crisis of racial injustice and public outcry that demands immediate attention, voice and action from everyone.TriHealth is so proud of the physicians and team members who have already stepped up to stand with their African American colleagues and community through participation in the White Coats for Black Lives demonstration, local peaceful protests and social media activism. It is very important to keep this positive momentum going and bring about real, lasting change!
Please save the date and plan to attend a special virtual Town Hall on Wednesday, June 24 at 12 p.m. (livestreamed on Facebook and Bridge) to talk about the challenging topics of racial inequality, injustice and disparities in healthcare, and to discuss ways everyone at TriHealth can do even more to live by the values and create positive, lasting change for our African American colleagues, community and our nation. TriHealth team members and physicians will be participating in a panel discussion to kick off the Town Hall, and then questions from the “virtual” audience on race and health disparities in our community will be answered.
Hope everyone can join!
