TriHealth has officially been accredited by the Commission on Cancer (CoC) as an integrated cancer network with a Gold rating, complementing Good Samaritan Hospital's 30 year accreditation history.

The Commission on Cancer (CoC), a program of the American College of Surgeons, recognizes cancer care programs for their commitment to providing comprehensive, high-quality, and multidisciplinary patient centered care. The CoC is dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients through standard-setting, prevention, research, education, and the monitoring of comprehensive quality care.

Accreditation is reached through a triennial survey which was conducted at Good Samaritan Hospital on 10/31/19 and at Bethesda North Hospital on 11/1/19. For the first time, TriHealth was rated Gold and given the Outstanding Achievement Award (OOA).

The prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award is given to programs with commendation ratings in all 6 commendation-eligible standards and zero deficiency ratings in all 27 standards. 1,544 programs in the country have a Commission on Cancer accreditation with 102 being in Ohio. Only 14% of these CoC accredited programs are integrated networks like TriHealth. In 2018, just 24 programs in the country were awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award and only 1 in Ohio.
