Thanks to your feedback from last June’s Team Member Engagement survey, we’ve made great strides in continuing to make TriHealth the place where team members most want to work, where physicians most want to practice, and where the community chooses to receive their healthcare!
Now it’s time for a quick check in to assess our progress through the 2020 Team Member Pulse Survey. This survey is now open for you to take from January 15-29, 2020.
Based on the feedback that we received from you in the Team Member Engagement survey taken in June, we have:
- Evolved our leadership model to empower team members, physicians and leaders with local decision making at the front lines to better support patient care.
- Led the region in implementing a “living wage” for team members to promote financial health.
- In partnership with Anthem, introduced the innovative, affordable Blue Connection health plan options for team members and their families.
- Shifted our benefits open enrollment to a calendar year to better align with other calendar year-based benefits.
- Focused on staffing and retention by establishing new training to support team member selection and retention.
- Implemented PTO accrual at a newly accelerated rate for all team members.
- Launched new Total Rewards discount program, PerkSpot, to provide team members with the best deals and discounts.
- Announced the creation of the TriHealth Service & Patient Experience Institute.
- Introduced hourly rounding in our hospitals to improve the patient experience and decrease harm events.
- Continued the process of leadership development and leader rounding.
- Continued to provide timely, streamlined and accessible communication to team members and physicians through the Weekly Update and the launch of TriHealth Bridge.
- Continued to focus on patient and team member safety, including the introduction of Just Culture and Cause Analysis safety tools to improve our efforts.

How to Take the Pulse Survey
To make taking the survey as easy as possible, we are offering two ways for you to take it:
1. Text PULSE2020 to 22333 to take the survey on your mobile device.
2. Use the link that was provided in a January 15, 2020 email from Press Ganey. The subject line is “TriHealth Team Member Pulse Survey 2020.”
Look for a chance to make a difference in just 2 minutes! Please take this short survey no later than Wednesday, January 29, 2020, to ensure we have great participation and receive meaningful feedback. This survey is confidential and is administered independently by Press Ganey.
Note: If you were hired after 10/14/19 you will not receive a link from Press Ganey to complete the 2020 Pulse Survey but you will be eligible for the 2020 Team Member Engagement Survey in the spring.
