We are excited to announce our new Chief Nursing Officer for Bethesda North – welcome and congratulations to Rebecca Baute, BSN, MBA, RN, CMTE!

Becky is returning to Cincinnati after serving as the Nurse Executive for Prisma Health Richland in Columbia, South Carolina and most recently in a nursing executive role at HCA – Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, Florida. As Nurse Executive, Becky has overseen the coordination and integration of many nursing services, including heart, trauma, and perinatal centers as well as matrix responsibility for ambulatory, radiology, endoscopy, perioperative services and behavioral health. Throughout her leadership, she has demonstrated vision and strategy through execution of organizational purpose, cultivating a culture of engagement, development, recognition and continued learning.

Prior to Prisma Health, Becky worked at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center as Assistant Vice President, ED, Critical Care and Ambulatory Administration, Patient Services and earlier as the Senior Clinical Director, Neonatal and Pediatric Mobile Intensive Care Unit. She has been a nurse for more than 30 years and continues to show immense passion for the nursing profession.

Throughout the interview process, including peer interviews, Becky’s depth of experience and contagious energy have been apparent. Several team members also mentioned her leadership style and advocacy abilities, among many other traits.

Becky will begin New Team Member Orientation on February 17, 2020.
