To protect our patients and team members, TriHealth has implemented visitor restrictions effective January 6, 2020 until respiratory season ends.
Visitation Restrictions at All TriHealth Hospitals Include:
- For patient safety, anyone 5 years old & under will be asked to wear a mask during the visitation session.
- No visitation by anyone who is ill with any of the following symptoms: coughing, sneezing, runny nose, fever, diarrhea, etc.
For Visitation to Labor and Delivery (L&D), Advanced Obstetrical Care (AOC) and Mom & Baby (MBU):
- Siblings who have been adequately immunized against the flu may visit the maternity units. Documentation of flu vaccination must be presented at the time of the first visitation session.
- Siblings not immunized against the flu will be required to wear a mask during all visitation sessions.
- For the mom's and baby's safety, it is strongly advised that any visitors with the new mom and baby be up-to-date on all of their immunizations.
For visitation to the Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Good Samaritan Hospital & the Special Care Nursery (SCN) at Bethesda North Hospital:

May visit in NICU/SCN two weeks after receiving 1 flu shot during the flu season. |

Team Member Restrictions for those who did not receive a Flu Vaccine due to Medical/Religious Exemptions:
- Must wear a surgical mask when within 6 feet of a patient.Team member restrictions are in effect until the end of respiratory season.
