Objectives

At the end of this session, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe which patients may benefit from systemic thrombolysis in the extended time window
  2. Comprehend the role of tenecteplase in acute ischemic stroke
  3. Discuss the updated guidelines on anti-platelet therapy in acute ischemic stroke
  4. Review ischemic stroke etiologies and their relationship with initial anti-thrombic therapy decision
