TriHealth Bridge

December 07, 2020

All outstanding and upcoming assignments in HealthStream/Learn for HeartCode (including online learning and skills) must be completed by December 31, 2020.  This is necessary due to the current version being retired at the end of the year.

Due to this change, the December 2020 assignments have been postponed.  We anticipate assignments will be able to be assigned in early/mid-January.  All December and January assignments will be made at that time.   We want to assure all team members have ample time to complete their assignments.

If a team member is listed on the accountability briefing workbook as past due or having an upcoming due date for HeartCode BLS, you have an assignment that must be completed by December 31, 2020.  If you access Learn and see HeartCode in your assigned learning, this assignment must be completed by December 31, 2020.

In the event a team member is on LOA or is listed in error, email Beth Behme at: Elizabeth_behme@trihealth.com .

The HeartCode skills labs at Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospital are open 24/7.  During COVID we have converted to using the Ambu Bag for ventilations.  Some may find the use of the Ambu bag challenging during cycled CPR. It is recommended to take a partner to assist with completing respirations during the cycled CPR.

If you need further assistance, Corporate Clinical Education is providing time in the labs to coach team members with CPR skills.  You can search for an appointment in Learn by going to the catalog and searching “HeartCode” and enroll in the HeartCode open lab session.

In addition, we will be available to help as needed for those who come in at….

  • Good Samaritan on Monday December 21 from 9-12
  • Bethesda North on Wednesday December 23 from 9-12
  • Good Samaritan on Monday December 28 from 9-12
  • Bethesda North on Tuesday December 29 from 9-12
  • Bethesda North on Wednesday December 30 from 9-12

If you have any questions, please reach out to Beth Behme at Elizabeth_behme@trihealth.com.
