TriHealth Bridge

August 13, 2020

As part of TriHealth’s financial recovery plan efforts aimed at reducing operating costs to return our system to financial health and stability, the Supply Chain team has identified a new cost savings opportunity related to our shipping expenses.

Effective immediately, it is requested that TriHealth team members discontinue using FedEx for shipping needs, including the use of FedEx Air Bills (AWS) and FedEx.com.

In place of FedEx, TriHealth has partnered with OptiFreight, a service that is part of our Cardinal contract which allows TriHealth to realize large shipping costs savings and rebates. Please note, the TriHealth mailroom and United States Postal Service (USPS) may still be utilized and are not impacted by this change.

If you or your team have used FedEx, please create an account with OptiFreight to manage your shipping needs. OptiFreight’s online portal is similar to FedEx.com, and will also allow you to obtain quotes and review shipping charges and delivery options.

Thank you for helping make a difference in our financial bottom line with this change. Please contact Ami Schlotman or our OptiFreight Account Manager Krista Meckling with any questions or concerns.
