It is with mixed emotion that we inform you that Stefanie Newman, Chief Nursing Officer at Bethesda North, is leaving TriHealth.
Stefanie has been a strong nursing leader since joining TriHealth in 2005. Among her many accomplishments:
- She helped Bethesda North achieve Magnet designation twice and started the important preparation for the upcoming Magnet review in January 2021.
- She led efforts that helped Bethesda North’s Emergency Department and Bethesda Butler’s Emergency Department win the Lantern Award.
- She was instrumental in the successful relocation of the cardiovascular ICU from Good Samaritan to Bethesda North.
- She facilitated the successful Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (NICHE) designation.
Perhaps Stefanie’s most important contribution – and her legacy to Bethesda North and TriHealth – is the nursing leadership team she has built and developed – including Stacy Kelly, Sue Brown, Tira Williams and all of our Bethesda North nurse managers who will continue the work of delivering exceptional care, one patient at a time!
In order to facilitate a smooth transition, Jennifer Skinner will be onsite more regularly to support the Bethesda North nursing leadership team, coordinate with medical staff leadership, and continue the important work underway.
Stefanie has been a leader in the field of nursing and an asset to TriHealth throughout her tenure. Join us in thanking Stefanie for her many contributions to TriHealth and wishing her well in the next phase of her career.
