The American Lung Association in Ohio announced Tuesday that TriHealth as a part of Giving Tuesday will help give the gift of life by sponsoring the 15th annual Fight for Air Climb at Carew Tower.
The climb will be Feb. 9, 2020. It invites individuals, families, friends and corporate teams, as well as first responders such as firefighters, to race up the stairs of Carew Tower. It's a total of 45 floors and 804 steps.
The goal is to improve air quality, learn more about our own lung health and help fight lung disease and lung cancer. TriHealth is part of the team now offering screenings for lung cancer, especially for long-time smokers. The goal is early detection of this disease.
