We are pleased to announce that Richard (Rich) Cinfio will join TriHealth as Director, Corporate Security beginning Monday, February 17, 2020 reporting directly to David Cook, Jr.,Senior Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer. His main office will be located at the Norwood Building in the Security Office Suite.

In this role, Rich will focus on providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and team members. Additionally, he will drive providing programs that are customer oriented to create a welcoming and secure environment. His responsibilities will also include ensuring all preventive measures are in place to significantly reduce the risk of adverse situations occurring at TriHealth by designing and implementing programs to minimize the organization’s exposure and liabilities. As part of the Corporate Security leadership team, the Security Managers across the system will report directly to Rich.

Rich joins TriHealth from University of California-Davis Medical Center, where he has been serving in the role of Director, Public Safety & Security. In that role, he successfully completed the strategic plans for security, emergency management, workplace violence and fire protection services. Also, he secured over $600,000 in grants to help enhance their workplace violence and security training. During his tenure, Rich rebuilt the security and public safety team from the ground up to create a sustainable high-performing department. Prior to joining UC Davis Medical Center, he served in similar roles with Cook County Health & Hospital System and Northbay Healthcare.

Rich earned his B.A. in Criminal Justice at San Jose State University. In addition to this degree, he has dedicated himself to lifelong learning as a leader and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, WestPoint Leadership Program and the Stephen Covey Leadership Program.
