TriHealth Bridge

Among the four hospitals recognized regionally, two TriHealth hospitals were ranked among the nation’s best by U.S. News and World Report. Bethesda North and Good Samaritan Hospital tied for the No. 3 position in the new local ranking. Good Sam was also No. 3 last year, while Bethesda North moved up one spot from last year’s rankings.

“These rankings – when considered alongside the many other recognitions our hospitals and physicians have received in recent months – are a reflection and real evidence of our commitment to make high-quality health care services accessible throughout the Tri-State area by holding all of our hospitals and outpatient centers accountable for maintaining the highest standards for medical care and patient satisfaction,” Mark Clement commented. “While it is gratifying to be recognized for exceptional performance, the ultimate measure is the care we deliver thorough our exceptional team to each and every patient, one patient  at a time.”

The U.S. News ranking, now in its 30th year, compared 4,653 medical centers nationwide. Of those, 165 hospitals were nationally ranked in at least one specialty. The methodologies were based largely on objective measures such as risk-adjusted survival and discharge-to-home rates, volume, and quality of nursing.
