TriHealth Bridge

Dr. Walter Donnelly, wife Karen, and daughter-in-law, Katie Donnelly, participated in the Pelotonia 100-mile cycling event for cancer research on Saturday, August 3, 2019, in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. & Mrs. Donnelly have contributed/raised $7,410 in 2019 and contributed/raised a grand total of $18,800 through Pelotonia for cancer research in honor of all of our The Family Medical Group cancer patients.

“This is the most meaningful, most rewarding, most charitable event I’ve ever participated in”, says Dr. Donnelly. “It’s hard to describe the rewarding and humbling effect this event has on you.”

Dr. Donnelly said people were out all along the 100-mile route in cities like Pickerington and Granville giving them food and drink while cheering them on. Barns were freshly painted with words of appreciation to donors and riders.

Interested in participating in an event like this here in Cincinnati? Join our TriHealth team for Ride Cincinnati, which will take place September 14-15! Ride Cincinnati is a grassroots bike tour that raises money for life-saving cancer research and clinical care. All of the money we raise will go toward our One Campaign (in support of our Foundations) to benefit patients and families of the TriHealth Cancer Institute. Our goal is to have at least 100 TriHealth team members and physicians participate in our Ride Cincinnati cycling team. Anyone from TriHealth who registers for 26 miles or more will have their $75 registration fee waived and will receive a “really cool,” complimentary TriHealth cycling jersey! Click here to register and learn more. Be sure to enter code trihealth19 to join the TriHealth team when you register.

Have you thought of having "Virtual Riders?" It allows those who cannot physically participate still be involved in the cause and/or raise money? Pelotonia did/does something similar. All the best, Jennifer

Question : Can a family member of an employee also register to be part of the Trihealth Peloton?
