Alec Diehl, PharmD
Alec Diehl, Pharmacist, is one of Bethesda North Hospital’s new Post Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residents. Alec attended Xavier University for two years where he completed his pre-pharmacy studies. He then attended the James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati and graduated with his PharmD in May 2019. After completing residency, Alec hopes to become a clinical pharmacist at a community pharmacy and precept future pharmacy students. He enjoys spending his free time running and spending time with his nephews. One day he hopes to run a marathon along the Great Wall of China.
Elizabeth Howell, PharmD
Elizabeth Howell, Pharmacist, is one of two Bethesda North Hospital’s PGY1 Pharmacy Residents. Elizabeth grew up in Cincinnati and was excited to be able to further her pharmacy career through a PGY1 residency in her home town. Elizabeth attended the University of Cincinnati, College of Pharmacy, and graduated with a PharmD degree in May 2019. Elizabeth noted the dedication of healthcare professionals while on rotation at the Bethesda North as a fourth-year pharmacy student. This dedication confirmed her desire to apply for our residency program. Elizabeth’s areas of interest include ambulatory care and infectious disease. Her future career goals include a PGY2 residency and working as a clinical pharmacist in an inpatient setting.
