The McCullough-Hyde Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of John Harlan, MD to the Board of Trustees.
Upon being officially nominated by the Board of Trustees, the Oxford City Council approved the appointment of Dr. Harlan on June 18, 2024. The Mayor of Oxford and the Oxford City Council officially appoint trustees for the McCullough-Hyde Foundation, a practice which dates back to 1937 and is outlined in the wills of McCullough-Hyde’s original benefactors Elizabeth McCullough Heath, Daisey McCullough and Benjamin and Katheryn Hyde.
Residing in Oxford, Ohio, Dr. Harlan is a physician leader throughout the community. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, he practices at TriHealth Women’s Services-Oxford Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Harlan is active in the community, notably he volunteers with the Oxford Free Clinic. Previously, he served on the Board of Trustees of the McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital Trust and the Board of Directors for McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Harlan will be a positive addition to the McCullough-Hyde Foundation as it expands its support of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital/TriHealth and strengthens its relationship with the physician community throughout the region and the TriHealth health system,” said Tyler Wash, Executive Director. “We are thankful to have Dr. Harlan in a leadership role for the McCullough-Hyde Foundation.”
Dr. Harlan’s term on the Board of Trustees began on July 1, 2024. He joins Karen Baker, Mary Butterfield, Deloris Rome Hudson, Julie Jolliff, Amy Longcamp, Tim McGowan, Sibyl Miller, Travis Robinson, and Pat Sidley as trustees of the McCullough-Hyde Foundation.
