On November 21st, Bethesda North Hospital held a dedication ceremony for the opening of an Angel Suite. Members from the Bethesda North team and Bethesda Foundation were present to welcome The Hayden & Crue Foundation to the opening.
An Angel Suite bring comfort to parents who have lost their baby in the womb or will inevitably lose their baby after giving birth. The suite will have comforting items such as comfortable seating, books, refrigerator, cleansing and dressing station containing infant clothes and blankets for them to use if they choose to.
This Angel Suite was made possible by The Hayden & Crue Foundation, and we extend our sincerest thank you to them.
This is an amazing thing to help our patients and families during a difficult time! My mom lost my brother 56 years ago. She never got to hold him, or say goodbye. Having this time, will truly bless our patients.

This is amazing! It's been 24 years for me and although this didn't exist when I lost my angel, the staff at Bethesda North was absolutely amazing through everything. This is a great addition!

This is a lovely idea for grieving parents. It doesn't reverse what has happened, but it does ease the pain a little and help them move forward in their grieving process.
