A special film screening about Black nurses sharing their experiences will make its debut to team members during the Juneteenth holiday.

The documentary “Breaking the Silence: A Black nursing documentary” by Black Women Cultivating Change and the Black Nurses Network, was sponsored by TriHealth and bi3. The documentary’s goal is to “raise awareness of the challenges faced by Black nursing students and nurses, promote strategies to address systemic racism, and inspire action to create a more diverse and inclusive nursing workforce.”

Team members are invited to Baldwin’s Legacy Room on the 12th floor from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., where they will also enjoy catering by Soul Secrets and Davis Cookie Collection. The film will also be livestreamed to the following locations: 

  • Good Samaritan Hospital - Saladin Conference Room
  • Bethesda North Hospital - Golder 1
  • Bethesda Butler Hospital - Medical Office Building Conference Room  

The documentary will also be livestreamed on Bridge for those who cannot attend in person.

I work in one of the TPP office and was not able to make the screening of this documentary. I would love to be able to play this on the bridge. Can we make that happen please?
