TriHealth Bridge

July 08, 2024

Welcome to the second iteration of TriHealth’s month in marketing, showing the work and storytelling led by TriHealth’s internal marketing and communications team in the month of June. Below are some of the ways you may have seen the TriHealth brand around Cincinnati last month!

Monthly Digital Focus

For June, the focus was on early cancer detection through regular checkups and screenings with a primary care physician. For many adults who develop cancer, finding it early can make a major impact on treatment – both when it comes to options and efficacy. In addition to screenings such as mammography, colonoscopy, etc., there are other indicators that an individual’s primary care physician may identify that can aid in early detection. See how that messaging came to life below!

Our additional focus for June was Weight Management. When speaking about weight management, we wanted to emphasize the fact that everyone’s journey with weight is unique, and that there are many different ways to address such a complex challenge in one’s health care. Take a look at how that messaging was incorporated!

Celebrating Positive Outcomes – Recent Patient Stories

Our clinical workers make positive differences in the lives of those they care for every day. Check out some of these amazing stories, told directly by the patients!

Frank Gardner, Patient with Diabetes

When Frank needed part of his pancreas removed, it disrupted his body’s insulin production, and he wound up developing type 2 diabetes as a result. By leveraging the resources available through the TriHealth Diabetes Education Program, Frank was able to find a healthy way to manage his new normal. See how he is back to living an active lifestyle, enjoying retirement and successfully managing his A1c in his full interview here.

Amy Brewer, Heart Patient

Former Mayor of Lebanon Amy Brewer knew something was wrong one morning when all the sudden, it felt like someone was sitting on her chest. Acting quickly, she went to Bethesda Medical Center at Arrow Springs and was taken from there to Bethesda North Hospital where her care went smoothly, and she was able to make a full recovery. Read or watch her full story here.

TriHealth in the News

TriHealth’s internal PR and Comms team works hard to make sure our stories are being told in local news as well. See below!

Local 12 “Next-Level Healing” documentary premiers featuring TriHealth patients & providers

Various TriHealth providers came together for an original Local 12 documentary that is aimed to help people in the community learn how to better manage their own health. The program also features multiple patient stories – a breast cancer patient named Santrina Fletcher, as well as Ashley Zinn, a patient who experienced serious complications during childbirth. Check out the full documentary here.

Mark Clement & Dr. Thomas Shockley featured in Local 12 story on the importance of being more proactive in health care

TriHealth President & CEO Mark Clement joined Chief Health Equity Officer Dr. Thomas Shockley to offer their insight on ways to help improve the health of the communities we serve. They speak about the importance of primary care visits to monitor health, regular screenings for early detection, and other proactive care methods that can help manage or minimize potentially life-altering health issues. See the whole story here.
