TriHealth Bridge

January 30, 2024

February is Black History Month, an annual celebration of achievements by African Americans and a time for recognizing their central role in U.S. history. It is a time to honor the contributions and legacy of African Americans across U.S. history and society—from activists and civil rights pioneers such as Harriet Tubman, Sojourner Truth, Marcus Garvey, Martin Luther King Jr., Malcom X and Rosa Parks to leaders in industry, politics, science, culture and more.

At TriHealth, we value Representation, Identity and Diversity. This year, like many others, we want to acknowledge and uplift African Americans’ contributions in healthcare and across industries nationally.

Panel Discussion: Honoring Black History in Healthcare - Past, Present and Future

Please join us on Wednesday February 28th for an informative and in-depth discussion on the current state of DEI+B in the workforce environment, the importance of these subjects at TriHealth and how we can continue to leverage these ideas to continue to get healthcare right and help our community to be seen, be heard and be healed. The panel will be held in person and livestreamed. Those attending in person are asked to register here or at the link below!

When: Wednesday, February 28  |  1:00 p.m. (Lunch served from 12 - 1 p.m.)

I normally do not leave any comments. But this time I will. We need to recognize African American Employees that are unsung heroes. They may not be the foremost person in Medicine, but they make significant impacts in their community, church, and even in their own family.
