TriHealth recently embarked on a project to improve how we manage provider on-call schedules across our system. The goal is to create a single “source of truth” that team members and providers can count on to provide accurate, real-time, accessible information about who is on-call. We are happy to announce the launching of QGenda On-Call, our chosen partner to address the provider schedule process, on Thursday, September 21 at 8 a.m. for our Ambulatory Teams — TPP & Specialty as Wave 1. All Hospital providers and clinicians will go live with QGenda On-Call in January 2024 as Wave 2.
What to Expect:
- Providers’ on-call schedules will be accurately represented in real-time right in the QGenda application or on a desktop website.
- Providers will have the opportunity to swap and trade on-call assignments with colleagues in a structured way from their mobile device.
- All QGenda On-Call users will access the platform via link from Voalte Me/Voalte One, from the QGenda app, or webpage.
- Staff workflows for contacting providers on call will NOT change, only the ability to view who is on-call.
Additional QGenda resources can be found on Bridge.
Our provider on-call schedule is a critical part of our patient care processes. By improving it, we not only improve your effectiveness as clinicians, but we also improve the experience for our patients. Thank you for your support of this project – we are looking forward to making this new capability available to all of you.
