TriHealth Bridge

September 11, 2023

TriHealth’s Information Systems, Emergency Management, and Protective Services departments are adding a new method of the TriHealth Alert mass notification system – desktop alerts.

TriHealth is required by our accreditation organizations to notify our team members by two methods during an emergency. Our primary contact method is email, and all team members are added to TriHealth Alert by their email address. Our secondary contact method (optional) is text message and/or phone call to a team member’s mobile device. Knowing that many team members “silence” their phones at work and at home, we have now added a third contact method option through a desktop alert.

How Does it Work?
The desktop alert is configured for a campus alert such as weather, active threat, or fire, and will be sent to the campus for notification by Protective Services dispatch center. The following campus alert groups have been configured by Information Systems:
  • Arrow Springs – Any device that starts with “AS”
  • Baldwin – Any device that starts with “TB” (TriHealth Baldwin)
  • Bethesda Butler – Any device that starts with “BC”
  • Bethesda North – Any device that starts with “BN” or “TC” (Thomas Center)
  • Five Mile – Any device that starts with “AN” (Anderson) or “TA” (TriHealth Anderson)
  • Good Samaritan – Any device that starts with “GS” (which includes the College and the older MOB) and “CL” which will include the Clifton GHA MOB
  • Hospice – Any device that had “HOS” as characters 3-5 in their name.  That should include all Hospice locations
  • Kenwood – Any device that starts with “KE” or “TN” (TriHealth Northcreek)
  • Liberty – Any device that starts with “TL”
  • MHMH – Any device that starts with “TM” (TriHealth McCullough)
  • Norwood – Any device that starts with “NO”
  • Pavilion – Any device that starts with “PA”
  • Western Ridge – Any device that starts with “WR”

Once the desktop alert has been received by your computer, you will need to acknowledge it by clicking the “Acknowledge and Close” button at the bottom of the alert. This will close the alert and allow you to return to working on your desktop.
