TriHealth Bridge

September 29, 2023

As part of TriHealth's monthlong celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEI+B) team are spotlighting Hispanic team members, physicians and community partners who will share their personal stories.

Daniel Pacheco is Sr. Manager - Learning & Development at TriHealth. Working in Learning Development, Daniel feels that celebrating the differences that bring us together makes us better at serving our communities.

"Hispanic Heritage Month helps me re-connect with my roots and better understand others in our communities. My native Spanish-speaking and bilingual upbringing has allowed me to treat others with greater empathy, always striving to connect with others at a deeper level by always seeking to better understand. My Hispanic Heritage has taught me that family always comes first! You may disagree or not get along with every family member, but at the end of the day we are family and there to support each other.

It is important to recognize Hispanic Heritage Month because it helps us become a stronger team, enabling us to celebrate our differences, while connecting to our Mission - better serving the communities we serve. It is a tangible way to educate others, recognize and celebrate the many differences that bring us together."

I so appreciate not only the diverse cultural information we are receiving through TriHealth but also the information we receive in regard to being a part of the activities of such important cultures. I'm so excited and curious about these new opportunities I am learning about. What a beautiful new journey we are taking together :-)
