TriHealth Neuroscience Conference: Learn the latest stroke prevention, detection, treatment, and patient care strategies from local and national experts in neurological care

The TriHealth Neuroscience Institute is proud to present its first Neuroscience Conference: “Stroke Care Today and Tomorrow” to be held on May 5, 2023 at Cintas Center. Join us while top healthcare providers from TriHealth, Mayfield Brain & Spine, and TriHealth Rehabilitation partner with keynote speakers from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, and Baylor University in Texas to share the most current strategies in caring for patients suffering from stroke. Topics will include the most current evidence-based practices in the medical and surgical management of acute stroke recognition, prevention, and life after stroke. Continuing education contact hours will be offered.

Special highlights include:

  • Dr. Neha S Dangayach, MD, from Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, New York sharing her work on neuro-emergency management and transfer program.
  • Dr. Mary Miller Phillips. MD and Jane Boutte, SLP will share their work at The Neuro Transitional Center at Baylor in Texas, where they will discuss their unique program design and goals, services offered, patient outcomes and admissions criteria for their transitional center.

Purpose

The program is an opportunity to engage with neuroscience leaders in panel discussions about the latest innovations related to the cerebrovascular care of patients including prevention, hyperacute treatment, surgical intervention, rehabilitation, and secondary stroke prevention.

Target Audience

Regional primary care and specialist physicians, including emergency physicians, neurologists, cardiologists, radiologists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, paramedics, pharmacists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, advanced practice professionals, residents, fellows, medical students, nursing students, and other allied members of the healthcare team.
