As a part of our commitment to population health and serving the community, we are excited to announce that TriHealth has an opportunity to reach Medicare-eligible community members. In partnership with Essence Healthcare, TriHealth will be the primary source of care for new Medicare Advantage insurance plan options—Essence Advantage HMO, Essence Advantage Plus HMO and Essence Advantage Choice PPO.

 

During the 2022 Medicare annual enrollment period (October 15-December 7, 2022), Essence Healthcare will launch Medicare Advantage plans that offer a narrow network of TriHealth providers, facilities and services to people age 65 or older, allowing for better care coordination.

 

In October, TriHealth patients age 65 or older will receive a letter in the mail informing them of this new Medicare Advantage plan. If you or a Medicare-eligible friend or family member is interested in learning more, information will be available in TPP provider offices or by calling Essence Healthcare at 1 877 302 1689 (TTY: 711) or visiting EssenceHealthcare.com. 

 

While TriHealth will continue to work with and accept other Medicare Advantage plans, our participation as the main healthcare providers for Essence Healthcare will allow TriHealth to continue to support our patients in living healthier lives and receiving high-quality care for better value.
