TriHealth nurses attended the annual Recognition Celebration May 9th at the Cintas Center. Approximately 225 nurses and guests honored those who accomplished various note-worthy achievements in their careers in 2020 and 2021. Nurses who advanced professionally through formal education, achieved new nursing specialty certifications, newly advanced to clinical ladder IV, were either podium or poster presenters outside of TriHealth, became published, received awards both within and outside of TriHealth, and served as board members or officers in professional organizations were brought together for the celebration. Additionally, the eight Nursing Excellence Awards and the Directors’ Award for Excellence in Nursing were also presented. The nurses that were nominated for the Directors’ Award for Excellence demonstrated one or more of the components of the Magnet® Model (Structural Empowerment, Exemplary Professional Practice, New Knowledge, Innovations & Improvements, and Empirical Outcomes). These awards help to highlight our exemplary nurses that are shining examples of our culture of excellence.
