Effective January 12, 2022 (1/2/2022) at 8 a.m. there will be changes to Voalte One for all Voalte Users, including providers.

1. Unread message reminders in Voalte One for non-urgent and priority text messages will be moved from 1 minute to 5 minutes. See the TIP sheet for more details.
2. Quick Message SBAR Inpatient Communication format changes. The goal is to improve communication, effective messaging, and patient safety. See the TIP sheet for more details on accessing the SBAR Inpatient Communication format in Voalte. Changes include:
• Use this quick message format to ensure use of SBAR for all communications with providers in the inpatient setting.
• Patient DOB added to be consistent with use of patient identifiers.
• Use the new SBAR formatting to communicate your message clearly and concisely to the provider. Remember to be succinct.
• When SBAR format not used, providers may respond “Please Use SBAR Format”.
