The TriHealth Team Member & Volunteer Company Picnic is almost here! On Sunday, August 28, from 10am-8pm, two Cincinnati institutions – TriHealth and Kings Island – are coming together to commemorate the best team in healthcare. We are going all out this year in recognition of everything each and every one of you has done over the past few years – through an unprecedented pandemic and rapidly changing expectations for how healthcare is delivered.
The Kings Island ticketing site is closed, but with nearly 19,000 tickets ordered, we hope you are among the TriHealth team members, physicians and volunteers who ordered tickets and are planning on having a terrific day at the park.

It’s a Day of Fun, Thrills and Good Vibes
On Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 10am-8pm, TriHealth team members, employed physicians, volunteers* and their friends and family will gather to celebrate, reconnect, eat and have fun at Kings Island. Each ticket holder will receive:
- FREE parking
- Admission to Kings Island, including Soak City
- FREE meal per ticket
- FREE drinks throughout the park per ticket with the all-day drinks wristband
- FREE activities in the Picnic Grove, including face painters, photo ops with Peanuts™ characters and chatting with TriHealth Senior Leaders
Plan Your Day
Join the fun at the 2022 TriHealth Company Picnic. An event like this doesn’t come along too often! We have some tips on making the most of your day.
- Wear your Healthcare Heroes t-shirt or other TriHealth gear to identify yourself as a valuable part of the TriHealth team!
- Check out the Kings Island Planning Guide or the Kings Island FAQ, so you don’t miss a minute of the fun and thrills.
- Handicap parking and other accessibility and mobility support are available for those who may need it.
Keep Track of Your Tickets!
Your TriHealth tickets have a QR code that will be accessed throughout the day. Your tickets/QR codes will be scanned for entry to the parking lot,** admission to the park and the Picnic Grove if that is where your meal will occur, and to receive your all-day drink wristband. You can show proof of your tickets/QR codes in several ways:
- Print. You can print your tickets from the Kings Island online ticket ordering site by clicking ‘Menu’ then ‘Order Lookup.’ The site will be open through August 28.
- Email on Mobile Phone. You should have received an email confirmation from noreply@accessoticketing.com with a link to your tickets and additional information. Tickets can be scanned directly from your mobile phone if you have access to your email.
- Apple Wallet. If you used your personal email when ordering your tickets, you can add your tickets to your Apple Wallet for easy access throughout the day. This option will be blocked if you used your TriHealth email account.
Since this is a special TriHealth event, tickets cannot be found on or connected to the Kings Island app.
Can’t Find Your Tickets? Call Kings Island Guest Services at 513 754 5700 extension 3 with questions on retrieving your tickets from the Kings Island online ticket ordering site. Guest Services can also look up and print your tickets if issues occur on Sunday, August 28 or if you forget to print your tickets.**
The great news is, Kings Island will still be open to the public. You can meet up with any friends, family, neighbors…or even carpool buddies. The more, the merrier! We can’t wait to see you at this long-awaited event.
Redeeming Your Free Meal at Kings Island
Meal options were expanded to ensure we could provide a free meal to all the team members, physicians, volunteers and their loved ones who wanted to attend the Company Picnic. Once all the Picnic Grove meal times reached full capacity, the Kings Island Single Meal Deal was offered. Due to the overwhelming number of tickets ordered, it's important that you know what type of meal you have and when your assigned Picnic Grove meal time is, if applicable. Ahead of the Company Picnic, please take a moment to review the meal options listed on your downloaded tickets, your email confirmation or by calling Kings Island Guest Services at 513 754 5700 extension 3.
Single Meal Deal
Any ticket holder with a Single Meal Deal ticket won’t have access to the Picnic Grove; however, they can receive a free entrée and side at one of the participating restaurants throughout the park. You can select a restaurant and a meal inside the park at a time of your choosing. While you won’t have access to the Picnic Grove, we hope you still enjoy a delicious meal with your family and friends.
Picnic Grove
Meals will be served in the Picnic Grove during five different one-hour time slots, at 11am, 1pm, 3pm, 4pm and 6pm. You can enjoy classic all-American picnic favorites that even the kids will like—pork & beef hot dogs, all-beef hamburgers, vegetarian black bean burgers, fruit salad, potato salad, cookies and drinks. Special meal requirements, like vegetarian or gluten-free, are also available.

* To be eligible, you must be employed by the legal entity TriHealth, Inc. and hired on or before August 15, 2022, or have actively volunteered in 2021 or 2022. Those employed by organizations affiliated or partnered with TriHealth are not eligible.
** If you don’t have your ticket/QR code when you enter the Kings Island parking lot, you will have to pay for parking; however, when you visit Guest Services to get your tickets printed, you will be refunded.
