The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recently amended the emergency use authorization (EUA) for both Moderna and Janssen/Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines to be administered as a single booster doses. Earlier this month the FDA and CDC granted similar endorsement of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for use as a single dose booster.

To see if you are eligible, please click here to refer to the latest CDC media statement and the CDC general booster information.

Note:

  • Those eligible who received the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines can receive the booster shot 6 months or more after their initial series.
  • Those eligible who received the J&J vaccine can receive the booster shot two or more months after they were vaccinated.
  • CDC recommendations now allow for mix and match dosing for booster shots; eligible individuals may choose which vaccine they prefer.
