TriHealth has been informed by Bricker & Eckler LLP ("Bricker") that Bricker was the victim of a criminal ransomware attack where information was breached from Bricker's email server. A select group of TriHealth physicians, team members and patients were affected by this breach. 
 
Bricker provides legal services that support TriHealth’s business operations, which requires TriHealth to provide sensitive and confidential information, including physician, team member and patient information. 
 
While this was a breach of a third-party's security protocols, and TriHealth was not responsible, we are partnering with Bricker to notify those impacted. The small number of physicians and team members affected will receive an email from TriHealth and a letter from Bricker via U.S. mail explaining the breach in more detail. Bricker will offer each affected party 12 months of identity theft and credit monitoring protection free of charge.

TriHealth takes the privacy of our physicians, team members and patients seriously and expects every third party with whom we engage to follow similar security protocols. TriHealth is working with Bricker to ensure they take additional steps to secure your personal information.
