Two weeks ago Dr. Janee Bey, TriHealth System Chief of Hospital Medicine, shared why she chose to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
Today we launch the “Vaccinated for YOU” campaign, a community awareness and communications initiative to educate and motivate all our patients and community members to get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Terri Hanlon-Bremer, MSN, RN, Vice President of Employer Solutions and Corporate Health, shared why she chose to get the COVID-19 vaccine:
“This pandemic has impacted our human connection, and I worry about the impact of isolation that this pandemic has caused. We know that anxiety and depression has substantially escalated and the long-term impact on one’s overall well-being is of concern to me. I am someone who loves connecting with others through personal touch, such as a warm hug, a high five, a playful tap, or a kiss(with my family members). COVID has disrupted all of this as we need to maintain social distancing, and I hate it! So for me, I am getting the vaccine so we can get back to what we are built for- human connection!”
When you get your second dose, pick up your “I got vaccinated for YOU” button.
Share your WHY! Click here to download a template you can print and fill out with your “why”, and if you’re proud to show it, share it on social media. You can also use our new Facebook profile picture filter using this link: https://bit.ly/3nfQrLQ and use the hashtags #theTriHealthWay #IGotTheShot #ThisIsOurShot.

I got vaccinated because I did not want my family to go through anything like we did with my dad. We lost my dad from covid in November.
