Do you want your couriered items to arrive at the right time, at the right location, and be charged to the right cost center? To ensure this level of service, our new Courier, Accurate Courier Services (ACS), will use barcode labels. They will require barcodes on all items being delivered (except for interoffice mail/outgoing mail).
For regularly scheduled deliveries, ACS will supply generic barcodes and courier logs. For all on-demand orders, barcodes can be printed as a pdf on regular copy paper using a standard office printer then taped to item. These barcodes will be generated through the ACS website after orders are placed. All users will be fully trained before go-live.
What we need you to do:
- Ensure you have a printer in/near your department
- Ensure the computer you will use to submit Courier orders is connected to the printer where you want the barcode labels to print. Click here to view the Printer Logic Tip Sheet.
- If you do NOT have access to a printer and need to purchase one, email Lisa_Humphrey@TriHealth.com for further instructions. Cost will be charged to your department.
Next steps:
- Week of April 5: Optimized routing completed
- Week of April 12: Department leaders final review and approval of routes
