This week we celebrate three recognition weeks: National Healthcare Facilities & Engineering Week, Pastoral Care Week and Respiratory Therapy Week. We want to acknowledge the many talents and hard work of each of these teams over the last year, as each plays a vital role in The TriHealth Way of Delivering Care and our commitment to Getting Healthcare Right.
Our facilities and engineering team members ensure a safe and efficient environment for all patients, their families and team members. We could not manage without the repairs to water, heating or cooling
systems and so many other things that go on behind the scenes in our buildings. Their service and expertise keep our facilities ready and safe for our community.
The TriHealth Pastoral Care team provides emotional and spiritual care, supporting patients and their families during sacred times in their lives. Part of our TriHealth team of caregivers, chaplains reflect the spiritual heritage of Bethesda North and Good Samaritan, providing care to patients of all faiths and beliefs, and helping ensure optimal healing experience to the whole person. As part of the care team, spiritual caregivers deliver care that integrates the values of mind, body and spirit to people of diverse cultural and spiritual backgrounds.
The clinical expertise of our respiratory therapists ensures we deliver the safest, most reliable care possible to all of our patients facing breathing or airway problems. Respiratory care practitioners have an important role in lung health. No matter where they practice, whether it’s neonatal, pediatrics, geriatrics, emergency care, medical transport, pulmonary rehabilitation, adult acute care, home care, or other specialties, their role is to restore and improve health.
Now more than ever, as we work to keep our facilities safe and ready during the COVID-19 pandemic, the work of each of these teams could not be more critical! Each of these teams helps us provide truly exceptional care and we are grateful for all that they do in helping us SERVE our community.
