During the COVID-19 health crisis, TriHealth continued to lead the way to SERVE our community. As the first healthcare system in the Midwest to deploy the “Interpreters” app on system-wide Voalte One iPhones, we have been able to use the app to help us SERVE our patients and their families.

Since we placed an interpreter at your fingertips through the TriHealth Voalte One iPhones and the Interpreter on Wheels (IOW), we have used over 690 hours of interpreting services in 29 languages, 54 hours alone on the TriHealth Voalte One iPhones. Interpreter services have been crucial to effectively communicating with our patients and their families during the COVID-19 pandemic. It’s allowed our physicians, nurses, and all our patient-facing team members to overcome language barriers and do our sacred work.
